Mark Musto wanted a portfolio site that was both striking and functional. Using an already-established look that Mark liked, a new Flash interface was designed and built to allow for bigger images and integrated video. Magnifying glass functionality is found by rolling over each work example and allows the viewer to read all the copy.
I was called in at the last minute to design a ‘spinning globe‘ concept for the Planters Big Nut Bar site. All the images and copy are for placement only in the 3 screens that I comped out that fateful evening.
This globe design ended up being chosen by the client and the site is now live (in a much more polished state, of course) here.
After contributing during the design phase of the new Post Shredded Wheat website, I took an active role in Art Directing the Flash build and animation. The result is a life-like wheat field backdrop to the simple goodness of Shredded Wheat cereal.
From the initial pitch to the final site-launch (and weekly updates!), I continue to play an instrumental part in the Starburst.com ‘Share Something Juicy’ branding work.
The Kraft Meals Made Simple has become the biggest commercial group (by membership) on Yahoo Groups. I was able to contribute by building & animating the Flash Header and Shelf Surfer module for the page.
As a Lead Designer on GrapeNuts.com, I was responsible for the front-facing Flash site-build, animation, and pulling everything together. I was also in charge of translating concept boards into final site designs, including the completely new history back-panel that became part of a special Walmart store release.
PumaConstructionCorp.com is a Flash website for a NY-based General Contractor. Large, easy-to-read text is complimented with airy header images & copy. The feeling is clean, inspiring, and professional. An XML-driven photo/video gallery provides easy upkeep and super-quick load times function better than HTML.
The American Reading Company encourages schools and students to place a more significant focus on reading. Working from a homepage design, I was responsible for laying out and building the HTML and Flash portions of this website.
Working closely with the Creative Director at Monkey Clan, I was responsible for completing designs & layouts for AARDCo.org based on initial mockups, as well as, all the HTML production.
